Description: Note that this is a three-hour webinar. Strengthen childcare providers' foundational knowledge of fiscal terms, concepts, and practices. It encourages providers to realize the importance of fiscal planning to the sustainability of their business operations. It supplies tips and best practices to help break down fiscal processes into manageable steps. This training is part one of a series, Strengthening Business Practices for Childcare Programs, which addresses basic concepts in fiscal and operational management of center-based childcare. (ADM 8)

Important Information: Due to a new state policy, participants may not monitor children during the training sessions. This is to ensure everyone’s safety and full engagement. Credit will not be awarded if monitoring children.

Topics: developing effective job descriptions, conducting effective interviews and establishing hiring processes, creating an orientation for new employees, and providing ongoing feedback and performance management.
